As if planning a wedding day was not stressful enough some of our couples like to challenge themselves with multi day weddings. Usually of a South Asian background, these days are packed full of events. Often the days leading to the wedding ceremony or reception are just as fun and exciting. There is definitely a look of satisfaction on people’s faces when you watch brothers and sisters smearing their siblings with turmeric paste at the Holud. During the Milni we see wonder as the henna artists create incredibly fast yet intricate designs. And everyone seems to have a good laugh when the groom is forced to buy back his shoes form the bridesmaids. As cinematographers it can often be difficult to remain focused on our cameras because we have a front row seat to the events and the energy is contagious. Not only do we want to make sure we capture all these events but it is easy for a bride and groom to take for granted a lot of the little details that make up their wedding day because they are just so busy. For Gunjan and Sumit we tried to balance these elements and create a story that will help them remember just what their days were like.
We had an amazing time sharing with these beautiful people, you can tell they are loved by so many just by the size of their bridal party.
The venue was the perfect setting for this beautiful wedding, the lake added a nice touch to the already wonderful view. The Royal Ambassador is one of our favourite venues to shoot at.
Big shout out to Frances from Frances Morency photography which was a delight to work with, her great personality and professionalism made it easy for both teams to work together as one. To see more of there images check out www.francesmorency.com
We wish Gunjan and Sumit all the love and happiness in their marriage and new adventures.
